I am in the middle of watching Control Room. A documentary about Al Jazeera and the coverage of Iraq. Of course it's biased, as is every bit of news that we get. But I want to know what everyone's opinion is and why. Not opinions that you've been spoon fed from the media, but true reasons of why you feel the way you do.

I never give my opinions based on what Im fed from the news. I am a very independant thinker. My true opinions of Bush. There are a lot of issues I have with him, such as his hand in the immigration bill that they tried to pass, but The war isn't one of them. After 8 years of Bill be-nice-to-the-poor-terrorists Clinton, We reached a tipping point on September 11th, 2001. We endured 8 years of attacks on us, out troops and even on our own soil with the first WTC bombing. Now we at least have a leader in office with a set of balls to do something. He wasn't concerned with what the UN thought of it, wasn't concerned with what the world thought of it. He was only concerned with what was in our interests. This is one of the halmarks of a true leader. If Al gore had been in office we would still be wringing our hands and cowering in a corner pretending that if we just keep being nice to them and not step on a few toes they would justgo away and leave us alone. At least bush realized that their desire to kill us was an ideology and not because we stick our noses in places we shouldn't. They want to kill us because we do not subscribe to the idea od shiria law and are therfore infidels. these groups want nothing short of a world run by muslim law.
