Why yes of course there are many tips to help you stop smoking and the best one I can think of is to replace it with drink and drown your sorrows for ever thinking about taking up smoking in the first place!!

I've managed to stop for quite long intervals in the past - forget the nicotine substitutes, it's like trying to give up breathing by wearing a gas-mask, it only makes you want to smoke again even more! Best advice is to stay away from smokers, notice how clean and healthy you're feeling, think of the money, and above all you have to really like being a non-smoker. I'll give it another go one day myself!

Drink lots of water. Get some sugar free candys and gum. Have some raw veggies to munch on. Stay away from smokers till you get strong. Start a new hobbie that will keep your hands and mind busy. :D
