Some Indian professionals mainly doctors have been arrested in connection with terror plots recently. I think it has really a set back & embarassement for our Indian fellows living abroad. General public there will start treating them in doubts. Whats your opinion. But I want to stress on important fact that "Terrorist don't have any religion or nationality".

India is a secular country, encouraging people of all castes, races to live together. The country is not put to the shame just because a person or two indulge in terrorist activities. It is that family put on shame, whose member is involved in terrorist. What is important is, the facts are to be proved. The british or americans should not make muslims as victims by arresting them without proper trial. If they are proved, the act of terrorism should be condemned. One should not be taken away by media announcements.

I am not talking about India. I am just referring about the situation of Indians ( to some extent Asians) after the terror attack and subsequent arrest of Indian doctors. It really have some impact on them.

You are right. People in many countries look down on Indians, though the type of people who are indulging in such activities are different people, they do not understand. The impact will be serious and chances of future employments are dwindling due to a few rotton persons.

There's an interesting thing about today's "terrorism" "issue". Ever since september 11th, the news (at least in Australia) has only reported acts or plots done by "islamists". but before september 11th, the world's worst terrorist was a South American who worked for the CIA. In fact, if you watch many hollywood movies set before 9,11 the only plane hijackers were either south americans or americans. Also, the IRA was one of the most well-known terrorist organisations before 9,11. Come to think of it - the only reported major terrorist attack since 9,11 was... 9,11. But what is also fact about today's islamic terrorist organisations is that they started out only killing muslims. Al Zahwari - the "second in command" in "Al Quaeda" originally led a group called "Islamic Jihad" which was widely condemned in the middle-east. The thing now is, many non-muslims tend to group all muslims in the same catagory - even though we see in Iraq, Palestine and Lebanon where muslims are attacking each other. eg. Fattah and Hamas both follow the same religion yet it is only the name that differs them. All of these conflicts are nothing to do with religion, they are just politics. It is just the same as if in the u.s. republicans and democrats started battling on the streets even though they are both christian.
