aside from your native language, do you know other languages or dialects? My native dialect is Ilocano (this is the language in Northern Philippines) but I know how to speak Tagalog, English, I understand a bit of Ybanag (another dialect in Northern Philippines). I can speak very little of Jpaneese

Hello yammydudes! I can speak, read and write in four languages namely Urdu, English, French and Panjabi. There are two more languages (Persian and Arabic) that I can understand and read but I can't speak them or write them myself. I do have a little understanding of some other local laguages of my country but not enough. I really love to learn languages and whereever I go I try to have some basic understanding of their local language so as to understand a little better.

Except for my mother tongue Italian I can speak English quite well, my dialect of course which hasn't an English name and I understand lots of other italian dialects, Latin, I can understand Spanish and some french because it's similar to my dialect and two or three words in Japanese and Korean (I wish I had time to learn those two though...)

Here in sweden all the dialects are the same language so we all understand eachother. I also understand norweigian and danish and they understand me as well since the language is alot alike. I also speak and understand english fluently and I used to know turkish as well - but i forgot most when I broke up with the guy I was with at the time.
