seamed stockings or hold ups?

I love seamed stockings, together with the deep six strap suspenders and the retro underwear. Hold ups are good under a tight fitting skirt if you dont want tell tale suspender marks, but they dont make me feel as sexy or glamorous.
What is your opinion....stockings or hold-ups (or god forbid, tights!)
