heartworm can kill dogs

heartworm...know what it is? all i know is there is this kind of mosquito that bites your dog and months later they tend to end up dying...is this true?

the word heartworm says it ALL!!!,,,,yes your dog will die if you dont take it to the vet. i saw a dog heart and it was full of very very slim worms inside the differents heart conducts they are white and very very long worms......the mosquito just carry the eggs then later they turn into worms in the dog heart,,,,,,why in the heart??? this question i never understood.
