Suffering is a state of unease either of the body or mind or both. Suffering is inherent in nature since for something to be done, effort must be exerted. The body has to move or the mind has to think in order to accomplish anything. This makes suffering indispensable. Moreover, we can't choose to do nothing since maintaining life requires effort which makes suffering necessary. People who say that suffering can be eliminated blur the boundary between elimination and minimization of suffering then claim that suffering can be eradicated when in reality, the suffering is still there but just minimized or lessened. Is suffering really indispensable? What do you think?
