Anybody out there have issues with workers comp? My husband has a back injury which he received over two years ago at work. We are having an extremely hard time finding a lawyer that will handle his case effectively. We recently switched because the first one was worthless, now the new one seems to be no better. We can't even get workers comp to pay for his meds. Not to mention all of the lost time at work he has incurred over the past year. If anyone has any advice it would be greatly appreciated!

Unfortunately that is the way it works. Worker's comp. insurance is a scam so the state or insurance company, if your state has privatized insurance, can make more money. I am sorry but that is the way it is. You will have to fight with everything you've got. You will have to starve and lose what ever you have. Show them compensation is due. Some people have abused it and because of them the ones truly in need will have to suffer. I own a business and they raised workers comp premiums 25%. It is because the insurance company needed to make more from the workers. I can't see any other reason because those who get injured have to sue the insurance company. LOL What the heck is the purpose of insurance if you have to sue to get it? Humans know how to screw up everything.
