Well it seems that marketing Pond is going to start thinning out some of the worst programs and the first two were bounced today. Take the Internet Back and Slashmysearch both been dropped and a couple of others are on the edge. I want to congratulate Valerie for being observant enough to warn her members about some of these dud programs. I flushed both of those sites some time ago as unworkable. Kind of sad to hear she got some very rude emails from diehard fans of those sites. Some people seem to get emotionally invested in some of this MLM stuff and cannot think clearly to see the writing on the wall. Any effect on posters out there. Are you hurt in the least by this move? Anyone going to leave MP as a result? Please, please, please, no referral links. I do not care what site you think is great. Do no hijack my thread to chase your referrals.

I am not a member of MP, but have looked at the program. I think it is a good when any site gets rid of "dud programs". If they keep such programs around, it hurts their reputation.

I was not a member of any of the websites that got dumped but even if I were no harsh feelings would have been created. Marketing Pond is a free downline/referral assistant. It's great that it looks out for its members, removing some programs that don't seem to work is a great idea. If these sites aren't pruned every now and then people will stop going because the quality will fall.
