'Cause nothing lucky happened to me. It's just a mundane day. Not really boring, but nothing special either. According to our news, a whole lot of couples got married today because three sevens is like, super lucky or whatever. Three heavenly numbers or something. Even Tony Parker and Eva Longoria chose this day. I didn't really believe that but still, I was kind of waiting for something special to happen, even remotely special. What happened was I accidentally stood my friend up this morning. We were supposed to go see Transformers together and we had other plans that afternoon so we only had time for the very first movie. 10:30 was show time. I set an alarm for 8:30am and 9:00. I slept through it. I felt really awful and apologized right away. Hopefully he's not still upset now. When I got to the movie (I went by myself), my dad was supposed to pick me up so he was calling me on my mobile phone to ask where he was supposed to wait for me. But alas, my phone was broken. I mean, not completely. But it had one of those spells where I can hear the person calling me but they couldn't hear me. My mom was calling too, and so was my brother. They all couldn't hear me. I was screaming "HELLO?! HELLO?!" in the middle of the mall. It was kind of embarrassing. Some people were already looking at me. Well, the day came and went, and nothing special happened.
