I have really curly hair! I can"t use clips because they often get wedged in between the curls, co I simply use a rubberband to tie it (everyday)....lol..I never leave my hair down! Same goes for my two girls they have inherited my hair and I can't clip theiirs either. With them I use the tiny plastic rubberbands that come in many different colors, to match all their outfits. I usually create little corn rolls with their hair and the plastic rubberbands are really easy to take off. How about you, what do you use rubberband or clip?

actually some did say that using rubberband and clip can make our hair fall and is not good for our hair. but i also use bands in hair not that regular rubber bands for paper cause it hurts much in the hair its not good use the one we buy at store cause it has support. or like my friend sometimes she just use ballpen or pen to clip her hair amazing.

Dear liyan97 I use Rubberband to tie my hair when I am outside but only at the time when I am eating something .. because I have long straight and silky hair and they keeps on coming near my mouth so it becomes hard for me to eat something so I have to tie my hair while eating anything .. and usually I just make a show off of my hair so I don't use any Rubberband or Clip to tie them .. I just comb them nicely and do not tie them ( they look good that way ) .. But if there is stormy season or intense heat then I have to tie them :( .. and I always wish that the weather becomes nice so that I can open my hair from the rubberband .. In winters I don't use any Rubberband or Clip and simply let my hair down and enjoy that season pretty well :)

I have never been able to wear or find a good enough clip to hold my hair either. I usually use rubber bands most of the time. My hair is usually in a pony tail and sometimes after washing it and air drying it, I plait it.

I don't use rubberband coz it's too sticky on hair and it is hard to take off. Sometimes my hair got into it and I have lots of falling hair. I used ponytail that has a cloth around the rubberband I can tie it over and It is easy to take off.

I don't use rubberbands because they pull out my hair. I use cloth hair ties and sometime clips. My hair is so thin so I can pretty much use anything.

that's the thing with rubber bands. it is painful when taking them off from the hair. most of my hair gets ripped off and ouch! so, it's better to use the cloth covered rubber bands. better when taking them off. so, i think i should stop using rubbers bands from now on. thanks to you student7!

I also have a curly and waivy hair. When I have it short I sometimes use clips or headbands. But when it grows longer I often tie it or poney tail it. It is hard dealing with long curly or waivy hair. I decided to cut my hair short this Month of May summer time. God bless!

i do love my hair a lot. i have a black straight shoulder length hair. and i love just letting it down. but when i'm in the mood, i use clips to make some rolls on the side and sometimes, i use rubberbands to tie them. i love wearing them in pony tails, too. so, i can go on with rubberbands and clips as well.. anne

hair clamp - brown hair clamp
my hair is so thick and long, so i can't use rubberband, because it usually breaks because of my hair. Sometimes, i use clips, but it does'nt go with my style.. I just use pony tails and hair clamps...

When in my teens, I used to use those black rubber-bands with coloured balls at both the ends…I have just forgotten what they were called. I had dozens of them and I just loved wearing them according to the colour of my clothes. They were good, but ordinary rubberbands tend to entangle my hair and removing them is a great pain, lot of my hair tears that way. So now I prefer clipping my hair all the time, even I cant leave my hair open, it makes me feel very clumsy and unorganized.

My hair is straight, as you can see in my Avatar. But at times it can be slippery and hard to use a single clip to hold my hair. But usually I will twist my hair to the back, fold it upwards and pin it with a medium-sized hair-pin. That way it will hold the hair for quite some time. But then if it get messed up, I would redo it. Some other times I would use a fancy band made of rubber inside and cloth outside. This is an easier way to hold my hair.

I never use rubber bands because they tend to break my hair which is baby fine. I use French Barrettes. They hold well and don't get tangled up or damage my hair. I also never wear my hair down, since it goes all the way to my waist and is very heavy...

I use both actually but I preferred just leaving my hair down. We're opposite my hair is normal straight. Lucky I don't need to worry about it often. I don't use rubber band as much because they tend to make my hair curly. And I've heard that rubber bands is not that advisable to use but I'm not sure if its true.

I use rubber band covered with cloth and like you I almost always tie my hair up and rarely do I let it hand down. I find it annoying when my hair gets in my eyes and when it's really hot and humid, the feel of hair on my nape irritates the hell out of me.
