I need a porkchop recipe...

My boyfriend's mom gave us a few porkchops to use. The problem is, I don't really know any good recipes for porkchops. The bf isn't a big fan of them, and I would love to make up something really tasty with them that he would like and possible change his mind about porkchops and such. Right now, any recipe ideas would be good -- we really like spicy foods, so a mexican or cajun style recipe would be really good, or something really tangy and juicy. Any ideas??

I've got a real easy recipe that only really takes minutes to prepare. It's spicy, just like you want it. The only thing is pork chops have to be cooked for a decent amount of time because the meat has to be cooked all the way through. Here's the recipe. It takes about ten minutes to prepare, but cook for about forty minutes until done: INGREDIENTS 1 (10.75 ounce) can tomato puree 1 tablespoon hot sauce 1 fresh jalapeno pepper, sliced 1 tablespoon crushed red pepper flakes 1 tablespoon dried sage 1 tablespoon vegetable oil 4 thick cut boneless pork chops 1 yellow onion, sliced 1 green bell pepper, sliced DIRECTIONS In a bowl, mix the tomato puree, hot sauce, jalapeno pepper, red pepper, and sage. Heat the oil in a skillet over medium heat, and brown pork chops on both sides. Remove chops from heat and set aside. Place the onion and green bell pepper in the skillet, and saute 2 to 3 minutes. Return pork to skillet, and cover with the tomato puree mixture. Cover skillet, and continue cooking 30 minutes, or to desired doneness.

Have you ever tried Deep Fried Pork Chops.... They are very tender not to mention very juicy when your done with them here is what i do for mine it's kinda like my own recipe. In a frying pan a nice big one add oil/grease to half to almost full turn stove on and heat it so it becomes really hot. 2 cups of flour 1 tbs of seasoning salt sprinkle of pepper take all that mix it together than take maybe 4-5 eggs and mix them together so they look like your going to scramble them.. Than take the pork chops and dunk them into the eggs and than the flour batter than put them in the hot grease let them deep fry for 20-25 minutes flipping them.. When your done you will have deep fried juicy pork chops!

Heres a quick easy way to make them. Make a stir fry of sorts. Cut up the meat into bite sized chunks. Fry up with something like...A1 classic marinade, Lemon Pepper marinade, any thing you like. Add some peppers, onions, mushrooms, ect... Then fry. This goes good with potatos, corn, rice, flavored noodles, ect... Its quick, easy and everyone will like it. ENJOY!!

Thanks! That's a good idea, because we're big stir-fry fans too, and I have a ton of random veggies on hand, and of course a ton of rice!

Wow! As an amateur chef, all these recipes sound great! I will try some of them myself... This one is easy. While apples & pork R traditional in the fall, I've found a little EVVO, S&P, & (here's the secret) Orange marmalade spread over the side closest 2 the broiler...Let it brown, then let it rest...Easy... Works 4 me & mine... AC
