a month back i saw all over our local news and in the papers that our Hospital had a security breach and alot of patients personal info was exposed on the internet for over a month before it was discovered and all i could think to myself is thats horrible i feel bad for who's info was left out in the open like that and then.... on sat i receive a letter from the hospital telling me sorry for the 4 week delay but they regretfully need to inform me i was one of the people whos info was out there floating around for others to see and they advised me to look into my credit report contact police etc, now im freaked i had to call the credit bureaus and have them put a fraud alert on my credit, i had to contact local authorites to let them know i may sometime in the future be filing a fraud report and all i can do now is sit and wait its nerve wrecking. has anyone been a victim of identity theft??? if so any advice on how to help me through this if the situation arises because at the moment im just a sitting duck!
