Ices Or Ice Cream?

It is very hot and sticky here in the Northeast. We are in our second day of over ninety degree weather and it's no fun to be outside. It's no fun to be inside either. Even with the air conditioning it is like moving through a bowl of warm soup and getting chores done is ten times harder in the heat. Something cold would be very refreshing right about now. I love ice cream, but in the very hot weather I crave a cup of ices even more. A few ice parlors have opened up near me and they have the most amazing flavors like birthday cake and cookie dough. What do you like to eat when the weather is very hot? Do you prefer ice cream or a cup of ices to cool you off? If so, what's your favorite flavor of either?

Hi wachit14, I know it must be very hot in your part of the world, it's hot up here too! Yes, NY is having a heat wave, I cannot even get cool with my air on either! I love the real Italian ices, lemon is the most refreshing and I love the cherry ices. I also love the flavor of coconut ices that the Dominicans sell. They are sooooo good! Try to keep cool, they say that by the weekend it will be tolerable, LOL!!! take care...

Yes, I love coconut ices and the Italian ices are very good. I love the cherry the best I think.

I prefer to get a snow cone when it is real hot out side, to me they are more refreshing than ice cream. But there are not too many snow cone stands around where we live anymore. We used to have them, but they almost all closed down. I like the tuti-fruity and the chocolate flavered ones the best.

The weather here in the Philippines is too hot and i really feel sticky. I don't like sweating too much that's why i'm always in the front of the fan or aircon. I prefer juice, softdrinks or just water with full of ice to cool me off. Sometimes i also eat ice cream and my favorite flavor is rocky road or double dutch.

I love ice cream.. so i'd have to say ice cream. Yesterday I had a chocoloate milkshake from Sonic. That was nice, it was in a styrofoam cup so it didn't melt quickly or anything. :)

I love the ice milk from McDonald. The cone is small enough that it doesn't provide too much calories. But a slush is a much better way to cool off in my opinion. Give me a sour lime slush anytime. :)

Ice Cream for me! I love to have those chocolate chip ice cream sandwiches.oh they are so yummy as I have some in the freezer. Those cookie doughs are good too.

Where in the Northeast are you?I know how hot it is for you.It's hot and humid all year here in Kuala Lumpur.I love ice cream too and cold drinks.I prefer cold drinks than ice cream cos ice cream just adds up to the calories.
