The Pope is reintroducing the Latin Mass.

Benedict is scheduled to issue a decree giving permission for the use of the Latin Mass or what others call as Tridentine Rite. Many traditional believers are rejoicing over this decision to reach out to believers of the old rites. This is a part of the grand design of the Catholic Church to extend its arms of liturgical reconciliation to former comrades of the faith.

I am not catholic. I think the latin mass is quite an event. I learned latin in school and I think it is great that they go back to their old traditions and rules. It will be a big gain for the catholic church.

big gain for the church, aloss for everyone else. they might as well decree again that its followers are not allowed to read the bible. it's a step backwards to times of exclusion.
