Do you think long and hard to find a thoughtful discussion only to discover it has already been done? Does it bother you. It seems that there are a lot of discussions about the same topics. Would you rather have fewer numbers of the same topic or more readers discussing yours?

I think it is very hard, yesterday I started a discussion about email notifications and the next thing you know 3 of my friends started a very similar one, I think that everyone is trying to post and just posts what is on their mind instead of looking throughout interests to see if something has already been posted on the very same subject.

You may be right. I find myself doing the same thing. It seems to be more important to get the discussion out there so that we can get the small change rather than looking at what is already there. I'm always amazed at how many times the same or similar discussions are listed. Thanks. Are you as hot as I am?

Goodness, it is HOT here, my air conditioner bill is going to be outrageous next month, I have had the air on full blast at 72 degrees and not going outside UNLESS it is absolutely necessary and then it feels like a sauna, so glad we got our air conditioner fixed or I would have already melted by now!!

Yeah my electric bill is $320 for this place which is half the size of our previous place. At least the ac guy was able to shoot in some freon. Hopefully it will help! Pant, Pant!

I think that people go to discussions that were started by the mylot friends more often that others discussions. I would rather have more readers discussing my topics. But it really doesn't matter to me. I do not start that many discussions. I am more of a responder to discussions.

I tend to be more of a responder too. Looking at some of the topics being discussed sometimes I cant find any worth discussing though. I usually look at what new topics are being discussed then see what else is going on.
