Baby-sitters: Teenagers do a lot of baby-sitting. they may or may not be experienced with the ways of young childen, and will feel more confident if you show them how you care for your child. For that matter, any sitter will appreciate having full information about you may of doing things. As your child grows older, he is sure to announce "Mother always does it this way" or Mother lets me have taht. If you ve talked your ways over withthe sitter, she or he will be able to distinguish fact from your child's attempts to test how far he can manipulate things to suit him. Among the items a sitter likes to know are : Does the child expect food or dink before bed? What time does he go to bed? Is he supposed to have any medicine? Should he have any medicine? What is his favourite toy?How do you arrange the covers? Does he go to the bathroom during the evening? The sitter should also have other information : What is the telephone number where you, or some otehr responsible person, can be reached, the telephone number of your doctor, How about snacks, If you are to be delayed more than fifteen minutes, you should phone.
