Annoying friend?

Ever had a friend that is getting on your nervs so much, but you don't want to break it of with him/her because he has his fun moments? I have a friend just like that. We are complete opposites, and every time I talk to him online I just want to choke him. We can't agree on the simplest things, but I still can't stop being friends with him. He is well liked by the others in my social group, and he does have moments when it's a blast to spend time with hhim. If you've had a friend like that, what did you do? Did you keep him as a friend, or did you decide that enough is enough and stopped seeing him?

I feel that having such friends is a blessing. Though it might be annoying, I am sure he spices up your otherwise stressed life. I will continue to have him as a friend. I will not feel at ease if one day I cannot find anyone to annoy and tease. Life will be so empty.

i do have friends like that too, sometimes the things that he does can be really grating on my nerves, but on the whole, they are really nice people and a whole lot of fun to hang out with, and friends should not pick too much on these small issues

I have a friend who I can only handle in "small doses". She's great to be with and we always have a terrific time, but I can't deal with her for more than a day or so.

i had a friend like that in school. there were times that she drove me crazy but then she could be really fun too. we added another friend to our group (making our group 3 lol) she always treated the other friend badly. she "joked" that she was stupid and hit her in her "playful" way. it bothered me how she treated our other friend. as we got to our senior year she didn't seem to grow up any. i started dating this guy that she had crushed on a few years before. she started acting worse. so eventually i just ended the friendship. to this day she hasn't changed.

I have a neighbor like that and she drives me up the wall sometimes. I do tell her when I don't feel like getting together or have any time for her, she does get a little upset but sometimes we all just need a breather! I think it's mostly because no one else pays her any attention but me LOL I keep them as a friend but let them know when I need to take a break.

i had one like that . When i moved from that place i stopped having contact with her. She acted like a nut almost all the times. ASking about everything about everybody and poking her nose where it was not required.

Yes, I have a friend like that and I have been married to him for 19 years! Sometimes he drives me crazy, and sometimes he makes me laugh so hard I cry! I couldn't imagine life without him.

i had to smile while reading that because we got someone in our circle whom we secretly find annoying but she's too nice to get the cold shoulder from us. so we just let her hang around. sometimes though she comes up with something but we'd all be too placid with our responses. i don't think she gets it but it's okay. just let the person hang around, eventually you'll learn to like the person. we gave her a chance and now we've become close. she starts to get annoying sometimes but what we do is we just keep our distance during those moments so we don't do something bad.

Yea i have friends like yours and its really hard at times to deal with it but after all they are our good friends who will be there when we are in need. We should try not to be with them when we are not really in a mood as they might annoy us without knowing what we are going through and in the end it will end up with a cat fight.

I have a very close friend like that. She drives me crazy and she can be so immature sometimes, but we still have a lot in common and we have an awesome time together. We've been friends for almost 10 years, so it would be kinda hard to let her go. I tolerate her tendency to be annoying the best I can and just give myself a break from her for several days if I need to.
