where in the phillipines do you think you can find the best beaches?

hey, I am from the north as well... and I love the beaches of pagudpod... have you been there??? it's great... you should also try the island of camiguin and guimaras... it's a good place for vacation, away from the stressful life in teh city...

Hi I'm from the North too, Ive seen the hundred Islands but I think Puerto Galera in Mindoro is much better. There I've tried snorkelling and it's really, really is awesome! You can see the different dolors of the corals and the fishes in the water, our tour guide just let us float in the water even if it's deep, we use lifejackets, though. When you tried this, I think it will make you want to try scuba diving too. There are also many islands there for beach hopping if you don't want to snorkel, you will find white beaches everywhere and at night you will enjoy the long beach.

If you like beaches + nightlife, I think Boracay would be the best for that. But if it's beaches + nature-tripping + peace & quiet, I heard Palawan was great. Another beach spot that isn't very crowded is Bohol. 100 Islands are said to be a good beach in the north too.
