Do you wake up to an alarm clock?

If you do, what do you prefer. . .music or buzzing? For me, I like waking up to music. I cannot stand the buzzing noise. It scares me out of a nice, sound sleep and that is not a good way to start the day for me. LOL! If you wake up to music, does the song that is on stick in your head for the rest of the morning or the day? Sometimes it does for me. What about you?

My mom is usually the one to wakes me up with her bright and loud voice. Alarm clocks seldom work on me.

We keep ours set on the buzz. We don't pick up too many radio stations where we live. Plus I tend to just incorporate the music into my dream and then oversleep. The buzzing may scare the crap out of me in the morning, but atleast it gets my butt up.

Hello amaleigh73! When I use an alarm clock, I use the strongest buzz possible. I need it to stir up my very sound sleep. Though I can program my mind to some extent in which case I don't need an alarm but when I don't I am sound asleep, hence a need for a strong buzz. But it seems that my alarm clock and I don't go along well with each other. Many a time I would wake up before even the alarm will ring and if not even the buzz usually don't shake me up from my sleep:-) These days since last week, I set the alarm and wake up myself, way early than the alarm time. Earlier, it was usually opposite i.e. I won't wake up on alarm. Even if I wake up I shut it down and often times, when I wake up later, I don't even remember that I shut the alarm down. There is only a fuzzy feeling in my mind that I did it:-) There are times though, when alarm works for me and they are rare!:-)

I must wake up to an alarm because if I don't, I can sleep on and on and on until the afternoon! I don't have an alarm clock because I don't like how loud the alarm can be. I use my cell phone instead because I usually need 3 alarms to fully wake up in the morning...LOL. The first two alarms are music alarms with an upbeat that usually gets me up. If I am not up by those two alarms, then the third alarm is the old school "ring ring ring ring" that I can't stand but that will get me up for sure. The music doesn't stick in my head though. I usually have some gospel/inspirational music that comes into my head to encouragement to start my day off right.

No, I don't use an alarm clock to wake me up...I rely on my biological clock only...which means that my body is used to waking up on or before 6 A.M. so I don't really need an alarm clock, which is annoying and upsetting in the first place. A nice music to rouse you from your sleep is nice, but still I am not for it...it's just really me...I have already programmed myself to wake up at 6 every morning, so there's no problem really. I have read discussions of hating the sounds of alarm clocks in the morning as a conditioned reaction...so I count myself lucky for not relying on alarm clocks...

I have my alarm clock set to the buzzer, because music will not always wake me up. The odd thing is, however, that I usually wake up a few minutes before my alarm goes off, and I turn it off and get out of bed rather than letting it buzz. My fiance sleeps later than me every day, so I'm sure he appreciates not being disturbed by the alarm.

Since I fall asleep to music or the TV anyway, music woudln't wake me up. I need buzzing. When I am at home I use my clock radio, when I am on the road, I just use the alarm clock in my cellphone. Both work equally well for me.

Ringing alarm clock - Crazy ring alarm
I do not but my husband does which kind of annoys me because he has to get up before me. I have never slept in all my life. I think that I have a built in alarm clock.
