I am very interested to learn of what programs people have been the most successful with in terms of weight loss success. In the past, I only had twenty pounds to lose, and I was very successful in losing the weight while going to Weight Watchers meetings. Due to a medication that I was on during the past year-and-a-half, I gained seventy, very unwanted pounds! ;.D Since then, I have not been able to stick with the Weight Watchers program because I am constantly craving bad carbohydrates and junk food! However, I have not been attending the meetings, and will start again with them tomorrow. I would love to hear about your successes and/or struggles with weight loss!

I'm glad you're into Weight Watchers.Just stay away from bad carbs and junk! They're baddies!I was 90kg (180lbs),I lived a very unhealthy lifestyle, never exercised and slept when I could have exercised! But now,I'm 30kg lighter and I run and walk a lot.It takes a lot of hard work and I'm not stopping here. It's a long way to go.Don't give up!With lots of exercise and water and no to junk, you'll lose 'em fast!Take care!

I too have 70 pounds to loose, caused by a bad back that left me being not so mobile for while. I'm hoping to get back to my old regimin of walking and not having the bad carbs. I don't get carb cravings until I have had carbs. I had to slowly with draw from them. I started with eating a little less every day. I now just have to get more mobile. I already lost 20lbs with just cuting the junk food, less junk food means less calories. Belive me I did it slowly because when I cut my junk food completely I craved it more and would give in to the cravings. Maybe we could help each other?

I use to be into the Atkins diet, but unfortunately the weight came back quickly after I stopped that diet. The only truely effective way I have found to lose weight is to limit my calorie intake to 1500-1700 calories a day and exercise for half an hour 4 times a week.

I don't know of too many weight loss plans that everyone else doesn't already know. I know severa lpeople that have had success with the Weight Watchers program. I've been hearing about those ALLI pills you can buy. Maybe you can do some research on those.

A good way is to make an exercise plan and put it on the door.Everyday when you fail to do these exercises you'll feel very guity. I also put a tag on the fridge-eat less, otherwise you'll get fat. it takes effect.

Drink green tea, its full of antioxidents which are good for you. Also drinking green tea speeds up your metabolism which helps you to burn more calories, which helps to loose weight. There is also this new stuff called Alli, its a pill that keeps you from absorbing as much fat. You can also keep a food diary, that helps you keep track of what you have been eating thruout the day. Good luck, I need to loose a few pounds too.
