swallowtail butterflies

its really a mystery to watch and see how a tiny ugly carterpillar can evolve into a bright and pretty caterpillar. i used to take care of these little creatures in my garden, they do nothing but eat! lol

i LOVE butterflies! we dont get very many where i live (in the desert) we do however occasionally get some little pale yellow ones that feed off the alphala crops.
if we actually got monarchs or any others for that matter i would get some of those butterfly feeders!

awww that's kinda sad, i like monarch butterflies too but they arent really common here unless they're being bred and yes we have those yellow ones and white ones too :) they look nice
