Tai chi: Stress reduction, balance, agility and mo - Tai chi is a series of gentle movements that can bring about stress reduction, improved balance and many other health benefits.
Tai chi is a series of gentle movements that can bring about stress reduction, improved balance and many other health benefits. Tai chi (ti-CHE) is sometimes described as "meditation in motion." Originally developed in China as a form of self-defense, this graceful form of exercise has existed for about 2,000 years. It's becoming increasingly popular around the world, both as a basic exercise program and as a complement to other health care methods. Health benefits include stress reduction, greater balance and increased flexibility — especially for older adults. Tai chi is a noncompetitive, self-paced system of gentle physical exercise. To do tai chi, you perform a defined series of postures or movements in a slow, graceful manner. Each movement or posture flows into the next without pausing. Tai Chi has a healing power that increase physican strength and balance at the same time a self defense. It heals the body by sending internal energy to each functional organ, via the acupuncture meridians.

Yes,tai chi can make a person powerful in spirit and mind. It is a moving meditation which relaxes the mind and body. Thru practice we can achieve the power that is internal and at the same time fills the body with energy that enhances the spirit. But you have to select a good teacher or sifu to guide you on what steps to be taken or you might take the wrong path. So have fun and practice hard bro.
