Did anyone watch the Genral Hospital spin off, Night Shift? What did you think?

Since the new show Night Shift comes on at 11 PM, I set my DVR to record it. I just watched it, I don't want to give away any spoilers in case some of you didn't see it yet. It comes on Soap net on cable. I really enjoyed it, and can't wait until next week, as apparently, it will only be a weekly show, which will drive me nuts. Just like every other show, they keep you hanging for a week. I like that it has the same people from daytime, so we can follow the characters easier. I hope it continues for years. I think it was a great idea.

They currently have only signed for 13 episodes. I did watch it too. I started a discussion complete with spoilers. I thought it was brilliant. Faster paced and shot differently. I loved Maxie and Coop! The only problem I foresee is things that happen on Thursday night and are not mentioned by the characters involved on Friday on the regular show.
I also like the nursing students in pink. I remember being a nursing student and can empathize with them.

Thank you for the update. I had totally forgot it was starting. I have missed the first few episodes. But I will have to remember to watch it now. What day of the week does it come on?
