Not a lot really helps to be honest, my daughter has been sick for about 2 weeks now but it is slowly going away, just keep her warm, keep the fluids up & keep up the medicine that has been prescribed. I know it's hard but my daughter has gotten over most of her cold, she's only left with a bit of a cough - to combat that i give her warm milk to sooth her throat. Just so you know, you shouldn't be giving infants honey - it can make them worse coz honey has something in it that is bad for the little ones. Little ones are hard when they're not well but just keep up what you're doing - minus the honey thing - & see what happens, if it continues to stick around without any signs of getting better, then you should take her back to the Dr but only if she's showing NO improvements!

most cold medicines really don't help that much, when it's an infant, or baby. (that's the age range right?) they always made my sons, hyperactive.. and didn't really do much. Just push the liquids.. it really depends on the age of the child.. If she's under six months, I'd go to the hospital/doctors right away, as a cold lasting that long could cause other problems.. It could be the cold has turned into something else.. RSV, Croup, phenomia (Sp?) so I would def. see the doctor regardless of the age.. Good luck, I hope she feels better soon!

i think that you should take her back to the doctor. if what they are giving you is not working then maybe should take her the emergency room. make sure that you are giving her plenty of water. what is another good thing to do is lay her across your lap, cup your hands, and just pat her on the back. i know that brakes up alot of mucus in her chest. take in the bathroom and let the shower run with hot water to get that steam going. that helps alot too. if these things don't work please take her to the hospital
