spielberg or lucas????

Steven has directed so many different types of films while Lucas is known for science fiction.Spielberg has a oscar and Lucas hasn't yet.I pick Spielberg because I am not into science fiction.

For me, Steven Spielberg is the better director. Most of George Lucas movie credits are not him directing the movies. The only big screen movies he's directed are Star Wars IV, I, II , III, THX 1138 and American graffiti. George Lucas has been the producer or executive producer of most of his films. He deserves the most credit is for his company's work on special effects which all cinema has benefited. I think George Lucas is an ordinary director that created 1 great piece of cinema and changed cinema forever especially sci-fiction. Spielberg is the better film maker, Lucas is the better businessman

Hmm..Im a starwars fan so of course I'm biased when I say george lucas is better..but I must say spielberg directed more top-grossing movies than lucas did. But lucas was nominated for 4 academy awards while spielberg won 3. huh.
