Why girls love to take pictures from above?

Here's one website i love to visit its a chain website wherein the primary goal is to meet new friends.
When i browsed the pages, i observed something, girls love to take pictures from above.
I wonder why? would it make them (us) beautiful if we our pictures will be shoot from above?Have your observe it?

hehe.. i also notice that kind of angle. ive seen a lot of it over the net. i assumed the goal or the purpose is to capture everybody 'cause if you notice, if you'll take a pic angled infront of you, only you and half of the others will be included in the shot. and probably for those who take pictures of themselves alone, they feel pretty or they think taking pictures angled like that is nice and girlish.
