Maybe it is because us humans have millions of things to remember and recognize with our brain functions, and a few things are bound to be forgotten.

Yes there are many things to remember so we tend to forget. But what do we forget? I feel that of all the things we forget which our brain doesn't record in its memory. and when does brain doesn't record? when we half heartedly try to record it. For example why do children forget lessons or things they were told to do? because they have more interesting things like games or sports or interesting things to eat or movies or TV and so on. So they record the lessons or other things with secondary interest. You ask any child who played the role of the head master in the film Harry Potter and they will instantly answer but what is the capital of Australia or America they have to think to give the answer. Do you agree?

Yes, because children won't forget something they are interested in. Like when I had history and science in school. I remembered far more about history because I was so interested in it! But I found science boring, so I didn't remember as much.

I don't know. Maybe determine by something in our brain. and age is also a reason. i think something will lake when the age increase.

I agree it may be the age. but then why do children forget their lessons? and it is not definitely the problem with the brain. because many children forget. I feel that the interest with which we record things in our brain tends us to forget things.

Because we're busy and we're thinking of so many things...but special persons can't be forgotten for sure...

we do remember special persons but there also we cant or wont remember all special persons in the world. This is because at the time of learning about somebody or something we immediately start filtering in our brains whether this topic is supposed to be remembered at all times or only to certain period of time. This filtration done by the brain again depends on the preference of the topic. If it is a lesson a child is learning he will immediately make up in his mind that this lesson he has to remember only until the session ends. or an elder if has to remember some thing about his/her boss they need to remember it only until they are under that boss. once they leave that job or the student finishes his session they tend to forget about it. but things of our interest life long we will not forget.
