How do I get my photos to show up on discussions?

I am a little confused. When I upload a photo it just goes to one place. I'd like to add some photos to the discussions. Can you add them to responses? Also, do you get paid for each time the photo is viewed? Is it a one time payment for adding a photo? Do people make responses? I'm still confused how the phot thing works. I read the FAQ but I'm still lost. Thanks in advance for the help. Can you also give photo tips and tricks to make using them more effective?

you just have to scroll down ur mouse and there u can see the browse..then pick photos u want to upload..

Ok so when i reach 500 posts, i will be able to put my uploaded photos in the discussion? please tell me if im wrong coz it is very confusing here by seeing all the topics nowdays.
