Do you go faster in delivery after the first child?

I did go much faster with my second child. With my first they gave my epidural too soon and I couldn't feel to push. With my daughter (8 years later) it seemed like she came right out. Honestly, I think I only pushed twice with her. She was ready to come out of there!

Well, I found this answer out 2 weeks ago!! HAHA. I went in to be induced because the doctor was concerned about how big the baby was getting. I had an epidural about 5 hours into labor and an hour before I had her, the epidural wore off. They wouldnt give me anything for the pain and oh was it painful. I do not know who invented lamaze but it didnt do anything for me! The doctor didnt make it to deliver her and I only had to push about 5 times. She was 8 pounds 13 ounces!

I sure did. My first one I was in labor for about 36 hours. My second one I was only in labor for 7 hours, whew. Of course with my second I was already 5 cm dialated when I went in to have him so who knows how long I was technically in labor. Sorry if that's tmi.
