how to comfort friend who was in deep sorrow ?

you may ofen meet this situation. when somebody was hurt or was in deep sorrow,what will you do to let friends get rid of the sad things.

Well, i'll definitely make sure that i'll be on my friends side in times like that.. make my friend feel the love, support, encouragement that she/he could possibly get from me.. I know the feeling so i'll stay and stick by her side even without my presence, still be there in spirit like texting non stop. . Take care now. (",)
