The Beatles were the biggest musical stars to emerge from Britain!!!!!

i totally agree! they're the best and the finest not just in their times but even up to this present day, their music still rocks! they're original, a breakthrough in music, powerful, influential, not to mention good-looking trendsetters. they're musicians, composers, intrumentalists through and through. they were not just teenagers full of hyperactive testosterone noisily revolting against their times; they we're a dynamic group, evolving with the times and their music speaks volumes of their thoughts and feelings. they were sentimentalist, romantics, humorist storytellers. they have depth, they have passion. and their lyrics are not just words, they're issues too that touch the human heart and soul in a universal manner. love the beatles - they're incomparable and unsurpassable.

The Beatles are always the one 4 me !yellow submarine,i want to hold your hand,when i hear these wonderfull songs,i feel they were great!I want to try writing songs like that ,and sing them ,play with guitar ,it's my dream!

For which reason they are being called the Gods of rock & roll. Among these superb class,Queen were also one of the greatest band.

I agree with you the Beatles were great and for the relatively short period of time they were together they produced nothing but quality music. They changed the musical world forever and the world. I love the Rolling Stones too but they have released a few albums that haven't been all that good, such as emotional rescue, what were they thinking? I think The Who was a pretty great British band too.

haha let me say to start "rekham" mentioned Queen... i was at thier concert in sydney when they were "booed" off stage, they swore never to come back .. but they did.. and i must say they did surprise me and a few other with their improvment...but i woul never class them as great.... now to a truely GREAT band Beatles took the world by storm and changed what the world viewed as music, alot of their tunes today are classics and deserving so i am a fan and will always be one tis a pity they can never perform again as one

Yes your so so right!! I was brought up,with the Beatles Love um!!!!! Soo Soo Much!! But however, I did see the rolling stones 2 years ago and they were smashing!!

I Love the Beatles, but never going to see them, so the best thing after them was the Rolling Stones!! Saw them in Twikanam!! Greatest i've ever seen!! xx Apart from David Bowie!!!!!!!!!
