not live to eat

What a proverb it is.One should not live only to eat. One should work hard and eat to live. What is your opinion?

Yes i agree. As Jesus said to satan, Man does not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God!

I believe in this proverb very much. I follow this principle by working and earning the money and then only when I eat food, I get the satisfaction that I worked for my food. Simply eating food at someone's cost is not a right thing to do.
