I hit the $1 mark!

first i'd say congratulations on hitting the $1 earnings. we must always look on the positive side and find motivation in that. sluggish is too hard a word to describe your performance in mylot. i'd say that because you are new, you are still learning about mylot at this stage. there are other mylot users who don't earn a dollar even if they have more than 100 posts to their name. so i would say, you're doing better than them. :) at 97 posts, $1 is not bad at all. you could still improve it if you want to. let's see when you reach 100 posts and have a star rating. when you have a reputation (the stars) already then you'll be more visible in mylot. just a few tips to earn more (if you want to): - write in length or at least more than 3 lines - do quality posts which are relevant, clear, and helpful - never be rude - always be sincere - rate the responses you receive in your discussions with +-! (positive is highly appeciated) - provide necessary comments in the responses you receive - always do tags or keywords (at least 3) - choose your friends and choose discussions you respond to - avoid violating mylot guidelines lastly, enjoy mylot. :) goodluck!

Congratulations on your having earned a dollar. Considering the number of mylot members now, I think it is harder these days to earn our keep with mylot:P We really have to work for every cent that gets credited to our name. Anyways, just do what you have been doing, increase your number of friends and post quality discussions and responses. That should keep your dollar growing. Cheers!
