Chinese movie on Disney film

Disney premiered a Chinese-language movie called 'The Secret of the Magic Gourd' in Beijing last June 2007. The movie is from a popular Chinese book about a boy who finds a magical gourd that gives him wishes. This is the first Disney film that was made outside the Hollywood (made in Hong Kong) and even the animators were not involved. This is one way of getting into the local Chinese market. The Chinese are now open on meeting Mickey Mouse, Buzz Lightyear, Nemo, Simba into their lives.
