My work entails so much pressure. Everyday I talk to people and people sometimes are just so tactless and careless that they dont realize that they already hurt somebody. For the past 2 days, i have decided to quit this job but i also realized that quitting is not the answer but i just got so overwhelmed with so much pressure and my emotions are so used up. I did my best not to get affected but it seems that its so hard to maintain a facade. Have you ever felt this way too?

I am so lucky to have a very good, positive and conducive working environment. All my colleagues are very friendly and helpful. I am sorry to hear that you are stress out at your workplace. Perhaps you should talk it over with someone that you are close with. Yes, as you said quitting is not the answer. Keep moving and try to solve the problem. As for me, just take thing easy but must get my job done well.

Just like you, my work also entails some pressure, not necessarily from my work per se, but from colleagues at work...sometimes people can be so mean that they look down on other people, and I am often affected. It also angers me when co-workers take our customers for granted and they don't deliver the service well...sometimes they are tactless and use harsh words which could hard other people, especially the clients. In my case, I have not thought about quitting because of this reason, although in the past, I did too. I try not to be affected at times, but it simply is too taxing sometimes, I have to ventillate events of the day to my daughter or my son. Sometimes I share things with my husband, and it eases out the pressure.
