Windows Media Player question...

I have Windows Media Player on my computer, which I assume many others do as well. When I place a cd into the computer, I can either play it or 'rip'(save) it to my player. But when I put a DVD into the computer, I can only play it. I was wondering why I cannot 'rip' it to my Media player? Is Windows Media Player unable to 'rip' movies? If it is not able to 'rip' DVDs, is there a player that will? Can you suggest one, for free?

Try ot open the site, download.com and then try to find a software or CD Ripper. . you will see plenty of softwares there. Concerning your problem, maybe your player can only read DVD, try to check it.
