When do you think is the best age to stop using these with kids? I think between 2 and a 1/2-3 years or as soon as they enter the preschool room. What are your thoughts on this one?

It really irks me when I see kids who are 2, 3 or even 4 with pacifiers in their mouths. Its not going to traumatize them for life to throw that pacifier away!

I had a rule with my daughter for her favorite comfort items. Her blanket was not allowed to leave the house at all and her stuffed puppy could come in the car on trips to the store but it stayed IN the car. We can't replace her favorite items and I refuse to allow her the chance of losing it. Plus she needs to learn both moderation and the responsibility of taking care of her things.
