It's cheaper to be cremated..but I like the idea of my body decomposing the natural way;)

Please just bury me. Even though I will not be in this body that I inhabit while I am here, I do not wish for it to bump its head during cremation. The heat impacts the nerves and that is the common occurance of the body. So please just bury me and if I have property again, get a permit and bury me in a cardboard box.

My sister is going for cremation. My mother is donating her body to science. I'm still up in the air - well, not literally. Cremation cost about half as much. $3,000 as compared to $6,000, well, a bit more actually, but....

I want to be cremated, and I want my ashes to be let loose to the wind in an area that held sentimental value in my life (I haven't determind that area yet, as I haven't lived my life out enough). It sounds so much more liberating to have your remains drift in the wind, or rise to the sky in smoke, than to be buried deep in the ground & consumed by maggots. The truth is, we're running out of room on this Earth and I don't want to waste even more room with my lifeless corpse in a box. Besides that, family also has to pay every 20 years or something to keep my body in that spot in the graveyard. It's a waste of land.

Wne I die I want to be cremated and scattered in the garden at the Danish village near where I live in Canada. I don't want to be burried in a box, taking up room in the earth when I can be cremated and take up no room at all.

I would prefer to be cremated when I die (hopefully many many years from now). The world is running out of places to bury people, and the cost of being buried has really become outrageous. I think I'd rather be cremated and have my ashes scattered, with maybe a small portion kept by my loved ones.

Hi slavezero! I think I would prefer cremation because I get so freaked out whenever I think of my precious, lifeless body being eaten by worms! Creepy, huh.
