is there a limit of words to be typed in a private message!?

is there something like this? i was just trying to help out one of my friend by telling him the way through which he could pimp and customize his profile by sending him a pm. i typed all the processes and tips putting much time and effort. no surprize it got very long. in the end when it came to posting time to my annoyance all the words disappeared and the page just got reloaded!!!
but thanks to earlier glitches of mylot i was wise enough to copy it all before posting. anyway i tried again and again to send this particular message but to no avail!! after that i thought to check out if it's because of the length of the message that it's not allowing me to do so(to note: there wasn't any warning like this) by simply sending him a 2/3 liner message. and to my surprize it was SENT now!! so anyone of you know that there is any limits of such kind? this ever happened to you? it's really annoying because now i can't see how i would be able to help him as comment section on his profile is disabled too!:(

Hello kaplya. I haven't encountered such thing yet but it's not surprising to hear that we are all having some sort of bizarre glitches going on. Why not PM your friend and ask for his email add instead. This way, it will be easier for you to send in the info.
I have over 100 friend's comments but 90 of them were totally wiped out without my knowledge. I really feel bad about it.

hi charms!:) how are you? it's really bad that your comment got deleted at first i too thought it could be a glitch but when i sent a smaller message there was no problem and that's what left me wondering! but it's a good idea i should better ask for his email address!thank you!:)

i have not encountered or used this feature of mylot yet. but i received several short messages in the section. it could be a glitch on the network today coz i have a problem i experienced earlier. or maybe mylot just simply make use of the private messaging feature for short messages.
