Miniature Pinscher watches TV and responds to the sounds coming from TV

Minpin watches the TV and moves her ears as she is responding to the voices coming from the TV.

My dog responds to the TV and watches intently whenever I watch Animal Cops. When he sees other dogs in distress, he whines and tries to lick the screen. One of my cats watches hockey. He sits in front of the TV staring up at it, following the puck. Sometimes he tries to catch it.
