Boy. This movie was violent. I do admit it does have some appropriate things in it. I liked the romance. After seeeing the movie it helped me realize that there are some guys in the world who want to keep a girl so much that they go after them and no matter the cost of getting there. It would have been better with happier ending.

It's a great movie. I bit violent true, however, war in real life is violent. It was based on a true story and I think that is kinda cool.

In real life, William Wallace was mocked for his fancy french clothes, so he stabbed and killed 2-3 guards, thats how his guerilla war started :)

I consider this movie a classic. I have seen it countless times. At it's time I think it was one of the most violent films ever. The reality for those years was quite impressive. I love when the leg gets chopped off. Compared to more modern films I would rate it as above average violence but nothing extreme. I would watch it anytime.

I agree that this is a violent movie. But it's also my favorite movie. What impressed me is William's spirit and I really appreciate it. I have watched this movie for many times, but I always will be tearful at the end. I am so moved to it.
