Ok, so i'm 18 years old right now. But i often get comments that i look younger than i really am. It's not unusual for people around to comment that i look like i was 3 or 4 years younger. And it's really really annoying. I dunno, guess i just had enough of it. Like this one time, i carried the stuff of a professor of mine to her desk, and along the way we passed by the professor for my next class though i didn't know her at that time. Anyway, when i went to that professors class and got acquainted with her, she told the class that she thought i was a relative of the professor i was helping, and that i was still in high school (the age of high school students from where i come from is usually 16 or 17 for 4th year high school students). Anyway, so there... how about you guys? ever been bummed out about what people say about how you look?

Yes! It drives me crazy when people think I am the wrong age! The problem is that my looks really haven't changed much since I was about 11 or so and hit puberty. Then I was always mistaken for an older teenager and therefore got into lots of trouble dating older guys and such. Now that I'm an adult (26) it means that I'm still mistaken for an older teenager, and get asked what high school I go to or whether I'm starting college in the fall. What was really great was last year when I was pregnant with my son. People kept coming up to me wanting to discuss the difficulties of teen pregnancy! And I'm like "I am not a teenager!" In my case, cutting all my hair off helped a little, apparently with a short haircut I at least look like I'm an adult, though I still get carded even when I'm out with people who are actually underaged and don't get carded! Of course people older than me always tell me that I should enjoy the phenomenon while it lasts, because when I'm 40 or so I'll wish I looked young. But I just get tired of people thinking I'm going to be incompetant at my job, that I'm a very young mother, things like that.
