Yes I would. In fact, I did!! I met my first girl friend in a web chat. You are right to be concerned about the meeting being in a public place. Nowadays online relationships are being used to scam people, or even bad things such as robbering and kidnapping. First you have to be sure about the intentions of your friend.

I think that you might want to corespond with him for a while to get a feel for who he really is. You can ussualy tell quite a bit about someone by looking at there profile and (if their from mylot) reading the types of discussions they particapate in. I met my first boyfriend on the net really. At first we like to chat with each other, then we found we kind of like each other. Our heart get together naturally. But we are far from each other, and we are in different universities. Every day we miss each other. He called almost everyday. We have a good time together. I think love on the net still depends on the luck.

I found my true love on the net. I couldn't find true, genuine love around me. Everyone seemed to cheat on their girlfriends, their wives, their partners in life. It never occurred to me that Mr. Right would come from the internet. I'm not saying every guy on the net could be the right guy. It probably just happens that there are still some faithful people beyond our own surroundings. My fiance and I were 7000 miles away from each other, but since his love for me is true and genuine, he found a way to be able to spend the rest of his life with me. I am happy and fulfilled!

If chance will be given why not huh... i believe that sometimes best things happen in the most unexpected situations. If net would be the way then why not? But yes you are right you have to be very careful because there are more danger in meeting with people on the net. Please always remember that its easy faking identity in net.

I use internet more than i meet people. So i guess the answer would be yes for me. If we know each other through internet for a really long time (more than a year), then i would consider meeting him in real life. I have met a few internet friend in real life, of course, the intention was for other reason, but i will say it's possible for me to look for lover through internet.

i prefer not. i am afraid that the person on line will make me disppointed.maybe a sweet, nice,caring guy on the net will trun out to be a bad man in the real world. you know people are different when he is on the net and in his real life. i 'd rather not believe the net man. i am scared of being hurt.
