Bah! Humbug! I am far from being happy. I have good days and bad days. Most days I tell people that come to my house, Welcome to dyfunctions R us. The only truly good thing in my life is my granddaughter and I am barred from seeing her because my daughter uses her as a pawn to get what she wants. And I quit giving.

I am so sorry to hear that. Its is so hard when people use children as a weapon. I will pray for you and your family. I will especially pray your daughter quits using your love as a way to manipulate you.

You are definitely right. My granddaughter is the one that is being hurt. And I usually give in to my daughter to keep from hurting my grandchild but no more.

I am, I am happy and content in my life! No, it isn't perfect, but I view it as an ever changing learning experience. I believe that being content is not the same as complacent. I try to enjoy whatever the circumstances at the time are. I have found in the unhappy, uncomfortable times I learned a lot, about myself, my family and my society.

Well I have my periods of happiness, but do feel down at times and get stressed once again. I think that being unhappy and happy is lifes way of making us appreciate the good times, it is as with the rich those born into agreat deal of money, they do not appreciate it as much as those who have worked hard to earn it and have been at rock bottom.
