Do you know why and how you got your name?

I guess Filipinos are naturally hopeless romantic. My name is a combination of two names, MILdred and FElicisima (They're the mothers of my parents). Thus the name Milfe. :). My brother is named Benex, from the names SaBENo and EXequel (They're the fathers of my parents). So we're like victims of this whole "oh-so-touching" combinations. LOL. But as far as I know, my brother and I are not pissed off by the thought. In fact, we like our names. :). Bravo to my parents. :) Do you guys know the history of your names? How about your kids, why did you name them as so, and your future kids, what name will you give them?

My mother's brother (maternal uncle) kept the name for me at the naming ceremony, on 11th day of my birth. The name in local language implies: ALWAYS HAPPY.

In my home, my parents are being traditional. They just follow the names by order of the generation tree from the elders in the family. All children of the same generation have similar names except the last names which my parents decide on what is best.

I have a friend whose family practices what your family follows. And I also have this friend that has the same name with his brothers, they all have the same names! :). I find it cool. :)

My name is Dewy Azura, n yes I know the history of my name :) firstly my name's just azura, taken from an malay actress, but because mo mother dont want my name's too short, she add dewy as my first name. in her opinion, dewy is best name consider that I was first daughter in this family... but, don't u think dewy azura is one of gorgeous name, ha..ha..haa just kidding. :P
