Boracay - a paradise on earth..........

Have you ever been to Boracay? Me, I've been there just last month with my family... What can I say? It is really a paradise in its truest sense... From the plane ride to the walk along the beach, all you will see is a paradise on earth... When we arrived, among the first things I've noticed is the clear blue water, the fine, white sand and the tranquility of the place... And I though to myself, is this real? Is there really a place in the Philippines that is as wonderful as this? In fact, there is... Boracay not only amazed me, but it also gave me the comfort that aside from the pollution and chaos we are experiencing in Metro Manila, there is still a place in our country that we can be proud of and enjoy at the same time... When we were walking along the beach towards our hotel, I tried to take - off my flipflops and woala! Eventhough flipflops are so in nowadays, you won't really need them in Boracay! hahaha... Amazing, isn't it? This is because the sand is not only white, it is really very FINE that it feels like powder to your feet.... I enjoyed walking barefoot all the time while I was there... :-) The place alone is so great, try to imagine all the wonderful activities you can try while you're there will really amaze you! My sister, brother-in-law and I were able to try the parasail and I really had a blast doing that!*wink At first I thought that the 2,500 pesos that we are gonna spend just to experience a bird's eyeview of the clear blue water for just 15 minutes is too much, but no! it is just enough... This is because although the activity is wonderful, you would get dizzy if you stayed up there a little longer plus the 15 minutes is just enough to take - in the magnificient view of the clear blue Boracay water... Believe me, I've tried it!:-0 After the parasail, we've planned to try the banana boat but my sister got dizzy after landing from the parasail and my mom got dizzy too while waiting in the yacht, so we just decided to go back to our hotel...:-( Nevertheless, the parasail alone is really a wonderful experience....... After experiencing Boracay, I know I will find it difficult to appreciate other beaches because Boracay really is...... WONDERFUL! I will definitely go back there and this time, I'll make sure I will be able to try all that Boracay has to offer including the foods!!! Darn!:-)

I heard about the Boracay recently in a response to one of my discussions, it seems like a nice place to visit. may be some day i will be able to go there. We also have a beach in Goa - India that is called silver sand beach because the sand is very fine and white.

My family and I have been to Boracay once and everything about relaxing can be seen in here. The beach is really nice. The pure white sand that doesn't hurt you while walking barefooted even under the hot sunny afternoon. The lovely corals and colorful fishes in different sizes were really great. The fresh breeze everyday that completes your day. Well grilled foods and fresh drinks. I can still remember when we tried to rent a boat and ask the owner to tour us around the island. And the first place we visited was the caves. I can't remember of its name. Anyways, you can also eat some exotic foods everywhere you go there. It was also wonderful to experience such relaxing summer with your family. Hope more tourists can visit such place called as 'paradise.'
