Silat is one of the olders MastialArt in the world. And Silat had its very own style.
Silat Silibus is like others from basic punching, blocking and kicking technique.Then bare hand fighting technique, weapon (knife, sword and etc). And the unique about silat is last silibus thought about buah pukul. the most effective street fighter technique. Buah pukul philosopy ' The Effective to defend is ATTACK, and GOOD attack is with less MOVEMENT'.

Ietersting, that sounds at the exact opposite than my favorite martial art wich is Capoeira.
As you may know Capoeira is all about movement, not always you need to fight but when you do it really hits hard.
However i'm somehow interested in other styles..care to share some knowledge on Silat?
