Network patch cable

I was wandering if anyone of you knows how to build an Ethernet patch cable

If you are talking about RJ45 Calbe, then you need some tools to make it happen. First you need a connector, a Climpling Tool & that's it. Place these wires according to the correct color combination (depends upon your hardware product)and put it on the connector. Then you can climp it by the tool.

ok, thanks for the explanation, but i do know how to build it (either strait thru or crossover). My question was about how many more mylot users knew.

are you talking about RJ45 cable? if so you can easily buy one from the computer store. be it normal configuration or "crossed" configuration. it is way cheaper to buy than buying those wires and RJ45 crimper.

Yes, i'm talking about UTP cable with RJ45 plugs crimped. I know i can easily buy one, but i can also easily do one straigh or crossover cable, my question was how many of the users of mylot can do that. Thanks for your feedback anyway.
