yahoo and blockbuster sending customer satification surveys when they didnt help

Whats with places like yahoo and blockbuster sending customer satification surveys when they did nothing to help? I complain at least 3 times a week about how the yahoo default profile is showing up for all my friends on theirs and my lists instead of the yahoo 360 we all have. They never reply, and when I get a newbie that does they claim I need to change my settings to what they aready are, when its a tech problem with the redirect link being down for everyone. Then blockbuster who sends an automated reply wants to know how well they did. What's with this? whatever happen to proper customer support where you are asked how they did when they actually DO something!
